Makes learning math fun. Answer questions, earn water and grow your garden to unlock awards.

 

In Math Garden you get to grow your own corn fields – but you need to water them by answering maths questions!

 

You can choose your own level of difficulty – and which type of maths you want to practice: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

 

This is the main game screen. This is your plot of land where you will grow and harvest your corm crops.

 

…but first you’ll need water! To earn water you answer maths questions. Each correct answer earns you 1 watering bucket full of water.

 

You can then click on one of your plots to water it and the corn will start growing. A droplet will appear when you need to water your corn – if you don’t water it in time it will start to wither – so keep getting those questions right or you’ll run out of water!

 

When your corn has fully grown it will start to flash and you can click to harvest. When you have enough water you can be growing corn on all 8 plots at the same time.

 

There are 12 different special awards to unlock – you earn them for the number of corn harvest you make, or how many plots you have growing at any time.

How is this better than other maths apps?

Most maths apps just test through repetitive questions, and kids get bored pretty quickly.

Here the objective is to grow corn and this sense of achievement and the fun animation as the corn grows keeps kids engaged.

They won’t realise how much they are learning when they are having fun!
